The 2008 CSC Banquet was a wonderful evening! Eddie Henry, CSC’s first baby back in 1979, was the featured speaker and shared about his adoption journey and the recent reunion he experienced with his birth family in Cebu. Wayne Roberts gave the perspective of a long-time CSC supporter and the grandfather of two former CSC residents. Will Healy was the emcee, keeping things moving and interjecting humor and insight. Greg Dirnberger performed three songs, including two that he wrote for CSC. He was accompanied by his two sons. Heidi Erickson spoke about CSC’s financial needs and opportunities for giving. The CSC kids performed musical numbers during dinner, alternating with Angela Erickson, Steven Stan Malmgren and Jonathan Roberts, who performed live in Minnesota. Angie Otsubo gave the offering prayer, and CSC Board Chair Craig Sturm and Pastor Randy Discher from Constance Freen Church also prayed.
