The Luke Fund Endowment
Planned gifts of all kinds can be designated
for the Luke Fund, CSC’s endowment fund that has as its primary
goal securing CSC financially for the future. Luke needed full-time care during the 23 years his life blessed us. Children like Luke need
lifetime care, and we want CSC to be present and financially viable
to continue to offer the other children who will come into
our care in the future quality care in line with their needs. CSC
will invest the funds donated for the Luke Fund and will use a portion
of the interest to help fund the ministry.

described as planning to make a difference
both for yourself and for a cause that you believe in through a charitable
gift. Planned giving often involves “leaving a legacy”
because many planned gifts are created to make an impact for future
generations.
It is surprisingly easy to arrange a planned gift. Though more sophisticated

Present gifts
The charity receives the benefit of a present gift immediately.
These gifts may take the form of:
Gift of cash
Matching Gifts
Memorials and Honoraria
Transfer of stock
Life insurance (cash value)
Deferred gifts
For a deferred gift, the donor creates the gift now, but the charity
receives the benefit of the gift at some later time (e.g. upon the
donor’s death or at a specified date). Deferred gifts may
include:
