The Luke Fund Endowment In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has. Several years ago the Children’s Shelter of Cebu set up the Luke Fund Endowment. We are saving money in the fund to establish enough principal that in the future we can draw out the interest to finance ministry areas. We have not created the endowment because we fear that God will fail to provide for CSC in the future. Instead, we see it as an act of faithfulness to our ever-faithful God as stewards of what he is giving us now.

Luke needed full-time care during the 23 years his life blessed us. His life touched all of ours, and helped us understand how much God loves each child.
We want CSC to always be present and financially viable to continue to offer all the children that follow Luke quality care in line with their needs.
An endowment like the Luke Fund helps us to work on the future today. It is one of the best areas to designate a planned gift. A gift to the endowment leaves a long-term legacy for the children who will come through our doors for years.
