| 5/1/08 | Pray for our newest child, ten-year-old Paula, who came to live with us on April 30. She comes to us from the neighboring island of Bohol. Pray for her adjustment to CSC. |
| 5/1/08 | We need a miracle of God to be able to continue with our building in Cebu. Due to several factors, including devaluation and several pledges that have been delayed, we are facing the reality of stoppage. Pray for a miracle for our Building a Legacy of Hope Campaign! |
| 4/16/08 | Praise the Lord for our successful banquet in St. Paul on April 12. Over 800 people attended and God was present at Bethel as people saw what He has been doing in the ministry.

| 4/16/08 | Pray for our Children of Hope School. Two of our teachers will be leaving us after this school year. Pray for the hiring process. Answered: We have been able to hire two excellent teachers for the coming school year.

| 4/16/08 | Pray for Jeralyn, the twin sister of Jovan, who came to live with us early in March. She is physically healthy, but has been very unhappy lately, crying a lot and showing fear of some of her caregivers. |
| 4/9/08 | Pray for Rowela. She was admitted to CSC last week. She is a very smart and cute three year old. Coming to CSC means Rowela has been reunited with her brothers who are excited to see her again. She has some medical concerns which will require attention before she can be allowed to join the other children. Pray for Rowela's health and that she will be able to adjust to CSC and make lots of friends.

| 3/25/08 | Please pray for the ongoing safety of the CSC staff, workers, and children. Here at CSC there are always many things happening all at one time. Pray that through it all the Lord will continue to protect us. |
| 3/20/08 | Please prayer for the financial situation of the Building a Legacy of Hope Capital Campaign. People have been generously giving, but more is needed to reach the goal. With the two new buildings in the middle of being constructed it is important for funds to continue to come in. |
| 3/12/08 | Our dear John Ray is ill. John Ray is one of the unique kids who doesn't live at CSC, but attends our school. He has brittle-bone disease and a forceful cough could actually break one of his ribs. Please pray for health and safety--we all adore this great boy.

| 3/2/08 | A second wave of chickenpox has hit CSC. Pray for the cases to be mild, pass quickly, and not involve complications. About 15 children now have the chickenpox, including several babies. |
| 2/28/08 | Pray for safe travel for Tim and Karen Erickson and Shawn Dahlgren. They will be flying to Cebu this weekend. Tim is a dentist and will be examining the children's teeth with Shawn's assistance. Also, pray for cooperation from the children during their examinations. Answered: Tim, Karen, and Shawn arrived safely and started right away. Examinations started Monday and the dental work started the following day. |
| 2/18/08 | Jashly Mae was rushed to the hospital the other day with convulsions. The doctors are still trying to figure out what caused them. Jashly is two years old. Answered: Jashly Mae was able to return home after nearly two weeks in the hospital. The combination of a high fever and infection caused her convulsions.

| 2/18/08 | Pray for the health and safety of our kids and the Central team as they head off for camp on Thursday. The camp is in the town of Santander, three hours south of Cebu City. Answered: Camp was great and children had a blast. The only downside was a couple children came down with chickenpox while at camp, which dampened their experience and spirits a little. The Central team just arrived back in the States safely. |
| 2/4/08 | Little Jovan has had a setback and needs much prayer. He has a fever and difficulty breathing (wheezing and coughing). Answered: Praise God that Jovan has improved markedly. There is no more fever. He is getting stronger and more playful daily.
He is now home! Praise God and thanks for your prayers!!

| 2/1/08 | Several of our children are down with the chicken pox, and it looks like it is going to spread throughout CSC. Pray that none of the children will have complications, and that our staff, workers and visitors will be protected. |
| 2/1/08 | Pray for our tiny little baby, Danielle, who is so small and vulnerable. Currently, two of our child care workers who have newborn babies are nursing her and this has been a great thing for little Danielle. |
| 1/16/08 | A recent volunteer, Allen, has returned home and been diagnosed with dengue fever. He is hospitalized as this can be a very serious illness. |
| 1/8/08 | This past week Teacher Cherryl injured her back. She teaches Level B. Pray for Cherryl as she is still in the hospital recovering. The healing is moving along, but slowly. The school in managing to cover her class while she is healing and the students are handling Teacher Cherryl's absence well. Pray for her recovery. Answered: Teacher Cherryl was able to return to work. Her back is feeling much better. |
| 1/8/08 | Pray for the ongoing building projects in the coming weeks. Alan Wright, the architect and designer of the new buildings, will be in Cebu City this coming week to finalize the finishing details. Many decisions will need to be made. Pray for all those involved so the right decisions will be reached. |
| 1/7/08 | Lavinia has continued to need medical attention. Her health goes in cycles. Pray for Lavinia. Recently she had to be taken to the emergency room because she was having a lot of difficulty breathing. Along with her twin sister, Crystal, she has been growing stronger and interacting more with the people around her. However they still have lingering health issues which continue to cause problems. Answered: Lavinia was able to leave the hospital. However, she is still in isolation. Continue to pray for Lavinia as she is taking strong medical at the moment.

| 12/27/07 | We are concerned for a few of our sibling groups who need adoptive families. We have groups of 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9 children that need families. Please join us in praying that God would provide loving Christian parents for these kids. |
| 11/23/07 | We are coming down to the end of the year in need of some spectacular income to make our budget for 2007. Pray that our supporters would respond to the needs as they have always done in the past. |
| 11/3/07 | Pray for our Building a Legacy of Hope capital campaign. We are about one third of the way toward our goal of $2M. |
