Before 1998, CSC used the public schools to educate our children. With class sizes there averaging 50 students, and admitting children with no education background, this was problematic. Without any fundraising, God miraculously provided all the funds needed to build our Children of Hope School from a church in Hong Kong and a family in Manila.
Children of Hope School is operated using English-based curriculum. The school is one of the primary reasons we are able to place older children successfully in adoptive homes. Our dedicated approach to academic development allows children to arrive in new schools at or closer to their age-appropriate level. Our school operates with just three academic levels, significant one-on-one time and an average student-teacher ratio of 5:1. It is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International, and licensed by the Philippine Department of Education.
